The 数学 Department offers 3-hour review sessions for the 空军联队 Accuplacer test. In order to accommodate as many students as possible, some sessions will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams, while others will be in person. Each session will consist of a brief lecture on topics and sample problems representative of the type of problems on the 空军联队 Accuplacer Test. Students will be given a follow-up worksheet of similar problems with answers to complete on their own time after the session.
Each 空军联队 Accuplacer review session will cover the following topics: linear equations, linear applications and graphs, factoring, quadratics, functions, radical and rational equations, polynomial equations, exponential and logarithmic equations, geometry concepts, and trigonometry.
It is strongly recommended that students attend the entire 3-hour session for a complete review of all topics on the test; however, a student who wishes to attend only part of a session may do so.
Reservations are *not* required to attend these sessions. 搜索 “空军联队 Review Sessions” within MS Teams or click here to join a remote session.

Review sessions for the QAS Accuplacer Test are no longer being offered. Please see the posted study guide below and contact the Tutoring Center for support if needed.
MSU 丹佛 is currently piloting the ALEKS PPL assessment. ALEKS PPL uses artificial intelligence to map a student’s mathematical strengths and weaknesses. Once the assessment is complete, ALEKS will provide an individualized, guided study plan including lessons and practice problems, for each student based on the gaps in their knowledge. Spending time in the learning modules will enable students to improve their placement assessment score. The assessment can be taken up to five times, and the highest score will be used for placement.
ALEKS PPL is currently available for in-person testing in the Office of Testing Services. No remote testing will be permitted for ALEKS at this time. The Office of Testing Services does allow students to opt-out of the ALEKS assessment and take an Accuplacer test instead.
If a student already has an ALEKS PPL score from another institution that they would like to use for placement into a math course at MSU 丹佛, view the document linked below. It contains instructions for how to transfer an ALEKS score. At this time, MSU 丹佛 is only accepting ALEKS transfer scores for ‘Proctored’ assessments.
